Russian Election This Year

Haven't been on in awhile, so I thought I would post today. So earlier this year I learned that the next election in Russia is this September! Hopefully, that will mean no more Vladimir Putin. Russia Takes On Syria (among other things)

Hello readers! The fight against ISIS has come to the point where Russia is now involved. Of course, the Kremlin has been quick to deny this.

Wow, You Really ARE Useless…

Not sure if this is a new hack, but on the news a couple days ago, the Russians (I suspect their government) hacked the United States government…and got the president's timetable. Useless really.

RIP, Boris Nemtsov

As you have probably heard by now, Boris Nemtsov was shot dead Friday in Moscow. Putin is suspected to have something to do with it. Protests were held in his memory yesterday. Could this mean a new Russian Revolution?

This Is Getting To Be Too Much…

This is where governments start to really get stupid…when they start to hack websites. Yes, the Russian government has now done that twice! First they hacked JP Morgan, and now…NATO.

Half A Year Now…

Hard to believe it's been half a year since Ukraine was first attacked by Russia. And Donetsk is almost gone! 300,000 left out of an original 900,000. Two-thirds of the population, missing! Argh…Russians…

Who's To Blame?

By now, you have probably heard about MH 17. I say, it could be either the Russians or the Ukrainians that did it. I don't know who to blame. They say it was a Russian built missile that downed the plane. Both Ukraine and Russia possess said missiles. Who do you think did it? Comment with your opinion.

Surprise!

Stupid Kremlin! That Stupid Kremlin!

Back again! Anyways, what the hell has Putin been up to? Stupid things! A lot of things have happened lately. For one, Putin has been facing many sanctions, and they are starting to cause problems for Russia now. Perhaps the stupidest thing: the Kremlin is threatening to shut down the International Space Station! I hate to be saying this, but Russians must rise up now! LEAVE UKRAINE ALONE!!

Exactly Who Landed On The Moon First?

I was thinking, technically, the Soviets were the first to "land" on the moon. Consider Luna 2, which was deliberately crashed on the moon. Also, Luna 2 was built by Soviets. Or, did Americans land on the moon first? Comment here with your opinion.

Crimea…Ukrainian, or Russian?

Wow. Whole countries have changed. Yesterday, Crimea voted to join Russia. Amazing!

So Confusing…

Well, I'm back. Sorry I was gone so long…I was quite busy. Anyway, I bet you heard the news, and it's about time we caught up to it. As you have probably heard, it seems to be that Russian troops are attempting to invade Crimea. However, Vladimir Putin is saying that the troops are just trying to protect the other Russians. Honestly, I agree with him.

Surprise! It's A Wooden…Penis?

I can't believe what I heard. A wooden penis. Attached to a car! Okay, here's the story. Someone (not naming names!) attached a wooden penis to an activist's car. Did I forget to mention that said activist is against Putin? Well, she is. She actually found it funny, and laughed out loud. Something tells me Putin had everything to do with it…

Feature Olympian (Patrick Chan)

Today's Olympian is Patrick Chan. Also known as Chan Wai-Kuan, he is only 23 years old. He won bronze in the 2012 Cup Of Russia.

Sochi 2014

Today, as posted, I write my special blog post about Sochi 2014. Events included are as follows: alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross country, curling, figure skating, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, luge, Nordic combined, short track, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboard and speed skating. From what I have heard, Sochi 2014 is already underway. Daily I will be checking for scores and other stats. Each day I will post about a different Olympian. Scores will look like this: (1.23 mins, Patrick Chan (US)).

Are You Ready? Sochi 2014 Is Only One Day Away!

If you haven't already heard, tomorrow I will write a blog post dedicated to Sochi 2014. Speaking of which, Russia may not be quite ready for the Olympics. For one, a reporter said that her wifi was dangling from the walls on wires. It's going to be wireless, alright! And another told about instructions for toilets. Can you believe it? It Might Really Happen…

We may just be getting further. Yesterday, representatives from Russia and the West held a meeting about Ukraine. They say we could be much closer to experiencing the Soviet Union again. Just 4 more days, and the day before Sochi there will be a special blog post commemorating Sochi 2014!

The Soviet Union-The Sequel?

This really needs to be stopped from happening again. Some fear Ukraine may go back to its Soviet past. To put it frankly, do we really need the KGB back? If we don't stop them, we could basically say   'bye-bye' to the Russian Federation and 'hello' to the Soviet Union. Anyway, 9 more days till Sochi.
